This policy explains how GNN (Gonzo News Network), at elgonzonews.com, handles information when you visit the site.
What we collect
GNN has no user accounts and does not ask you to register. We do not collect names, passwords or profile data. If you email us or sign up for the newsletter, we receive only what you send (such as your email address) and use it only to reply or deliver the newsletter.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. GNN itself uses only local browser storage for site preferences such as the light/dark theme. Third parties, specifically advertising partners described below, may set cookies when ads are shown.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
GNN may display ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to GNN and/or other sites on the Internet.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses cookies in advertising. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless, does not track you across sites, and does not identify individual visitors; it reports aggregated data only.
Embedded content
Some stories embed content from other sites (for example video or social posts). Those sites may collect data under their own privacy policies.
Children
GNN is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
